Minneapolis, 55404(?) I am unhoused and my phone is my lifeline. Every three days I must call Shelter Connect to try to acquire a shelter bed for one night to three nights. There are thousands of unhoused people on the streets and only two or three operators to receive calls at Shelter Connect. So getting shelter is a competitive, often vicious competition among the poor for limited resources This morning, for the first time, my phone glitched out as I tried to call SC. Losing time and being unable to call guarantees I will be unable to secure shelter and have to once again sleep on the streets with crack and meth addicts. Is my textnow sim card expired? Do I need to updated to a new card? I have been very satisfied with TN but today the app is costing me my peace of mind and doing damage to my physical and mental health. 612.843.7398
